Trial period is always a highly demanding time likely to be spent in a stressful and strong concentration requiring environment.

During this time you must not only learn, memorize and activate all the new information about the company and its processes but also be productive and show results. What makes it hard is that except being fast and highly concentrated you are being constantly watched by your colleagues, managers and supervisors.

The trial period is given to understand if the right employee was hired, also it gives you an idea if it’s the right company for you to work and develop yourself in.
So, tip number one – never, never be late to work during your trial period. It’s better to come earlier, have that cup of tea or coffee in a relaxing atmosphere and then be ready to absorb new portion of information and stuff you need to know.

Make sure your clothes are thought over the day before and changed on a daily basis. It’s better to keep to formal style and light, optimistic colors in clothes.
One of the must rules – make sure the rain won’t be a disaster for you. Better keep on carrying that umbrella in your bag for any unexpected weather changes.

Don’t be too shy. Make sure you communicate to the managers enough to understand the requirements and things that are expected from you. Don’t forget to socialize, remember people’s names and make friends. At the same time be sure you don’t speak too much and don’t give a general headache to the entire office %-)

Be proactive in your work. Make an extra effort to produce an additional report or send another email updating your manager on the status of your progress and delivery.Make sure your language is appropriate – not too friendly and at the same time not overloaded officially.

Remember to deliver results. Stay extra hour in the office after the first working week to look back at the achievements of the first 5 working days. Set targets for the new 5 business days and watch carefully to achieve them. Think of the process improvement, suggest new ideas even if they seem crazy to you from the first glance.

Make constant input in your work. Be creative and make your work diverse, fun and worthy. It will be valued at the long run.
P.S.: Oh, and never, never, never gossip no matter if it’s a trial period or not. You don’t want to know it. Just stay away from this. You will never regret of not doing this, for sure!

is actually the key factor. The trial is not only about you being considered as an employee but you also considering the Employer if one is good enough to employ you! I perfectly mean it – this is the major point that if understood by both parties guarantees you not just a work but the work that you would love. Something like Maryna has 🙂
